The King of the South for the 2024 Southland Team Roping was Seven S Big Valley earning the coveted Burt Bull Top Stallion bronze and $8,100 for his owners Mick and Dick O’Brien.

The top 2 money earning progeny for Big Valley were Big Valley Ms Haida, owned and ridden by Jayden Cisneros, and Zan Big Valley, owned (formerly) and ridden by Bo Crutchfield. Zan Big Valley was also consigned as Lot #18 to the San Antonio Invitational Horse Sale that immediately followed the Southland Incentive Team Roping and is now owned by Gary Shafer.
Next on our list of Top 4 Producing Southland Stallions is Quails Yellow Berry whose 2nd place finish was good for a $5,400 payout for his owner, Morgan O’Brien.

Wild Card Dun It progeny earned $14,400 during the 2024 Southland Incentive Team Roping. The top 2 earners were Ironman Wild Card, ridden by Shane Philipp on the head side, and Jigsaw Wild Card, ridden by Craig Miller on the heel side.
The final sire to make the Top 4 Producing Southland Stallions is H4 Ranches stallion, Bet Hesa Dandi, earning his owners Bart & Tana Hutton a $1,260 payout.
